Time for tip #2: How to get a conversation started with a girl. So you’ve scoped out the girl, and your slowly approaching her, what are you gonna say to get her attention? Well keep in mind you don’t want to seem desperate and you wanna act like you’ve got it together. A good way to approach the conversation is to consider  being cocky but funny. Girls will be intrigued by a guy who acts like they are confident yet doesn’t let it over power their personality and can make them laugh.

1. Be a gentleman. You can believe in women’s rights but that doesn’t mean you can’t open the door for her or pay for dinner. Chivalry goes a long way.

2. Listen carefully. If she has a story to tell, listen intently, repeat things back to her, nod and smile. Women will think you’re a great conversationalist sometimes by just listening and not talking.

3. Talk about the future. There’s no need to dwell on the past and talk about your psycho ex. She’s interested in her future with you so talk about what you have coming up.
