Sometimes women go out with jerk after jerk and meeting a gentleman is quite refreshing. It seems that nowadays gentlemen are becoming harder and harder to find. Here are some tips for men so that the average guy can act more like a gentleman.

- Open the door for her. Open the car door and wait until she sits down to close it. If this is not something that she’s used to she will feel real special. Before entering a restaurant, open the door for her again. When she is to sit, pull out the chair for her and help her to her seat. Doing these little things can mean a lot to a woman.

- Assist her. Help put on her coat. Offer her your arm as you walk. Ask her if she needs anything. Being a courteous gentleman really goes a long way. If she is not used to this type of treatment she will feel like a princess and she will make you her prince.

- Watch your language. Have good control of the English language. Speak softly and eloquently and don’t curse. By doing so, you’ll show her how educated you are. You’ll show her how sophisticated you are. These are the characteristics of a real gentleman.

- Be polite. When at a restaurant, say please and thank you. Be respectful to others. If she sees how you treat others, she gets a glimpse of how you will treat her in the future.
