Dating is fun, but do you want to remain a bachelor(ette) forever? Creating a new relationship is a great feeling, but breaking up is not. Repeating that process over and over again can really take a toll on your emotional state. So at some point you should consider getting married. It might be fun being single right now but it’s not fun when you’re over 40 and alone. Are you still wondering whether marriage is right for you though? Let me give you a few reasons why you should get married.

• No more heartache. A stable long term marriage means you won’t have to deal with getting your heart broken again. It means you won’t worry if he/she likes you or not, whether you’ll get a phone call or a second date.
• Drama. No more dating means no more drama. Gone will be the crazy emotions that new relationships bring.
  
• STD’s. When you’re in a faithful marriage, you can have sex without a condom and not worry about contracting a sexually transmitted disease.
• Motivation. When you are married and have children, you have a renewed motivation to better your life. You will want to remain healthy and work harder to help provide your family.
• Money. When you get married, your income doubles, yet rarely do your expenses double. Now that you’re married, your combined income may be enough to buy a house.
• Sex. Being married means you have a lifelong sexual partner who will be there for you every night, ready to have sex with you. When you’re single, your only steady partner is your right hand.
• Health. If you are married you will live longer than if you are single. That reason right there is the single most powerful reason to wed. When married, you have more of a reason to live a long life. People who are married tend to engage is less risky behavior.

Women want to feel special. They want a man who does what it takes to make them feel like they’re number one. Usually doing something unexpected and spontaneous for her will do the trick. But what types of things can you do to make your girlfriend feel special? Well here are a few suggestions on how to make your partner feel special.

- Surprise her with a back rub, a shoulder rub, a neck rub and a foot rub. Women love to be touched, especially after a long day at work. Life is stressful so help them relax by massaging their body and relieving all of their built up stress.

- Ask her how her day was. Listen and be there for her. Show her you care. Women love to talk and share their feelings. Be their avenue and let them vent to you. Even if it seems like all she wants to do is nag, whine and complain, just sit there and hear her out. Afterward she will feel better about the situation and will feel like you cared enough to listen to her day.

- Don’t forget Valentine’s day, her birthday or your anniversary. Women put a large value on special days. Set reminders on your phone of all of these special occasions so you’ll never forget them again. But don’t just remember them, make sure to plan something special on those big days. While they may not seem important to you, they are important to her and that’s what matters.

- Cook dinner for her. Reverse the roles, do something that she normally does. By doing so, you will gain a better appreciation for the hard work that she has to do on a daily basis. Not only that, but doing this will show her that you care. Many women will say that they would rather be appreciated than receive physical gifts.

Watching a movie with a date has always been an easy date. It might not be ideal for a first date, but it’s a good second date idea. The first date you got to see each other and have a quick chat. The next time you can build some physical chemistry. At the movies, you don’t have to talk to each other much yet you’re physically together for a couple of hours. But movie dates don’t automatically become successful dates. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of ways you can make your movie date night a success.

• Pick a movie you both will like. While you may be used to watching movies you like, consider the other person you’re with. The goal here isn’t to watch a movie you like, but rather to spend time with someone you like.
  
• Watch a movie at your place. What easier way to cuddle and more in the privacy of your own home. This provides a good opportunity to sit down on the couch together in a dimly lit room and feel the emotions of the movie together.
• Get physical. Watching a movie with something is alright, but it’s the physical action where the real fun lies. Lie your head on his shoulder, hold their hand or put your arm around her. By the end of the movie you both will be more physically comfortable with each other. This means you can take the date to a more private location after the movie with ease.
• Food and drinks. Get two drinks, one for each of you, and share a big tub of popcorn. This increases the chances of your hands touching each others. For the guys: pay for her movie ticket and pay for the concessions. If you end up in a serious relationship then she can pay for things later.
• After the movie. If you’re not going to have sex back at your place after the movie, it’s best to end the date at that point. A movie lasts a couple of hours and that’s long enough for a date. If you had a good date night at the movies, then leave it at that and call it a night. Save something for the next date.

Sometimes women go out with jerk after jerk and meeting a gentleman is quite refreshing. It seems that nowadays gentlemen are becoming harder and harder to find. Here are some tips for men so that the average guy can act more like a gentleman.

- Open the door for her. Open the car door and wait until she sits down to close it. If this is not something that she’s used to she will feel real special. Before entering a restaurant, open the door for her again. When she is to sit, pull out the chair for her and help her to her seat. Doing these little things can mean a lot to a woman.

- Assist her. Help put on her coat. Offer her your arm as you walk. Ask her if she needs anything. Being a courteous gentleman really goes a long way. If she is not used to this type of treatment she will feel like a princess and she will make you her prince.

- Watch your language. Have good control of the English language. Speak softly and eloquently and don’t curse. By doing so, you’ll show her how educated you are. You’ll show her how sophisticated you are. These are the characteristics of a real gentleman.

- Be polite. When at a restaurant, say please and thank you. Be respectful to others. If she sees how you treat others, she gets a glimpse of how you will treat her in the future.

Single people are everywhere, but not every location is ideal for getting to know someone. Ideally you’ll want to talk to people in locations where they may expect to be hit on. Here now is my list of the top places to meet single people.

• Bars, clubs, lounges. For those in their 20′s, these establishments are ideal for meeting new people. It’s best to attend with at least one other friend. Your friend(s) can serve as your wingman. Ideally you’ll want to go with a positive frame of mind. Be in a good mood, as you’ll be surrounded by good music, dim lighting and friends. The goal for the night should be to have a good time. If you end up meeting someone new consider that a bonus. If you go in with that kind of attitude you’ll increase your chances of success.
  
• School. Remember when you were in high school? There were plenty of classmates who you surely had a crush on. Yet you did not have the courage to let them know how you felt. Plus you were awkward and nervous. But now things are different. Consider going back to college. You can get a better education to get a better job and you might even meet some new friends of the opposite sex along the way.
• Coffee shops. Establishments like Starbucks and Coffee Bean have become a popular place to meet new people. These coffee shops present a calm quiet environment where people come to relax and socialize. Locate a coffee shop that’s busy and don’t sit in the corner. Don’t act like you’re too busy to be approached. Just sit in a relaxed manner and be sure to smile if anyone glances your way. If no one is approaching you, don’t be shy and approach someone yourself.
• Online dating. Perhaps the easiest place to meet single people is online. There are countless dating sites that were created to connect single people like you every single day. There are generic dating sites as well as those who cater to specific categories such as dating based on race, religion or interests.

Flirting is one of the best ways to let someone know you like them. It can be daunting to go up to your crush and tell them your true feelings, so we can use flirting to get the point across. Flirting is also a good way to see if they are into you as well. Flirting is very much like dancing; you can lead, but you have to be aware of your partners responses.

So how do you become a master flirter? As with most things, it takes time, practice and experience. The most valuable weapon in your arsenal should be confidence. The more confident you are the less nervous you’ll be. It’s the nerves that will make flirting very difficult. To be a good flirter you need to be quick and witty. Being nervous makes this difficult because nervous people often times don’t know what to say next.

Another flirting tip to remember is to smile and make good eye contact. Your eyes and your whole face brighten up when you’re smiling. Now you don’t want to smile the whole time because that would look weird, but smile every once in a while. Something else you can do to become a better flirter is to become a better conversationalist. You can practice flirting by talking to a lot of people. It doesn’t matter if you talk to males, females, young or old. Just talk. By doing so you can develop good habits that you can later use when you’re talking to someone you like.

One final flirting tip is to dish out several compliments in a nonchalant manner. You don’t want to tell them how sexy they are and that you think about them all the time. But you can sure comment on how you like their hair style that day or their choice of clothing.
